Amazon and Affiliate Link Disclosure Policy

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS, MEANING I MAY GET A COMMISSION, AT NO COST TO YOU, IF YOU MAKE A PURCHASE. PLEASE READ MY DISCLOSURE FOR MORE INFO.

This policy is valid from 11 November 2015.

This blog is a blog written and edited by me (the blog’s author). This blog is owned by Well Read Gnome, LLC. This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. This helps me keep this site free of charge.

This blog abides by word-of-mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The compensation received does not influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog.

I never, ever endorse a product or service that I would not purchase myself, and can therefore recommend without reservation. No exceptions.

This blog uses two main types of affiliate programs:

1. Amazon Affiliate Links

I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. Amazon offers a small commission on products sold through their affiliate links. Prices are exactly the same for you if you purchase through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link.

Any link to amazon.com or amzn.to is through an affiliate link and may give me a commission if you place an order after clicking on the link.

Amazon links are not “pay-per-click.” That means I don’t get anything if you click on the link. However, if you click on the link and then purchase something from Amazon, I may get a commission on that sale.

2. Ebook and Product Affiliate Links

If I share a product through an affiliate link, it must be a product of the highest quality and value. Recommendations for these products are based on my knowledge of the item, my knowledge of the author’s expertise and track record, and the value of the item. These affiliate links work just like Amazon links. Prices are no different if you use the affiliate links. You will not pay more by clicking on the link.

The links are not “pay-per-click”, meaning I do not get a commission simply by your clicking on the link. If you click the link and buy the product, I may get a percentage of the sale.

Any link that follows the pattern of “www.teaanswers.com/go/…php” or “www.teaanswers.com/recommends/…php” is an affiliate link. I may receive a commission if you place an order after clicking on the link. This helps me keep this site free of charge. Thank you for your continued support.

This blog uses three main types of third-party advertising:

1. Google Adsense

Google Adsense are ads inserted into the text of posts, header and sidebars. They are clearly labeled as ads. These ads are “pay-per-click.” This means that if you click on an ad, I will receive a small commission, even if you don’t make a purchase.

2. Amazon CPM Ads

Amazon CPM ads are inserted into the sidebars and footer. They are clearly labeled as ads. I receive a small fee for displaying the ads on my site. These ads are not “pay-per-click.” If you click on the ad or make a purchase through the ad, I do not receive a commission.

3. Media.net Ads

Media.net ads are inserted into the text of posts, bottom of posts, and sidebars. They are clearly labeled as ads. These ads are “pay-per-click.” This means that if you click on an ad, I will receive a small commission, even if you don’t make a purchase.

I want to assure you that the views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own. I always provide my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on topics or products.

If I claim or appear to be an expert on a certain topic or product or service area, I will only endorse products or services that I believe, based on my expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. In rare cases, I will mention products that I have not personally reviewed. However, this only occurs when I am familiar with the manufacturer’s previous products and am satisfied that he or she produces only high-quality goods.

Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.

Thank you so much for your continued support! Even if you don’t purchase items through affiliate links, so many of you show support through your comments and emails. Although it doesn’t cover the cost of running this site, it always brightens my day!
